First, let me begin by stating that I'm not typically a fan of briefcases. I've always preferred backpacks because I felt they were just easier to carry around and balanced the weight more evenly on your shoulders. While I still agree with that, I have to admit, this briefcase is simply amazing and depending on how you travel (I'm a frequent traveler) it comes in very handy.

What I like about this the most - beyond the style and protection it offers to my laptop - is the fact that it's incredibly organized. It makes packing everything that I normally have in my backpack incredibly easier. In fact, I like the organization style of this briefcase even more than the Everki Concept backpack - and I LOVE that backpack. The compartments are a larger, mesh zippered version of the backpack. Add in the fact that you can fit a large laptop and it has separate areas for magazines or things of that nature and is checkpoint friendly and you have a winner. It always grabs attention for its style and when you open it and people see the attractive and unique orange interior everyone wants to know what I have.

While I love carrying backpacks, this has actually recently become my preferred 'second' carry-on. When I mentioned earlier it depends on what type of traveling you do, if you have a spinner or wheeled luggage this briefcase I feel becomes a prime candidate for consideration since it has a strap that you can fit the handles of your carry on around, thus taking weight off your shoulders entirely. If you have a spinner, even better because this will connect to it via the strap and now you have effortless traveling.

Did I mention I carry two laptops in this bag, plus all cables and many other things? Honestly, it virtually fits everything I have in my backpack.

I don't know how I survived without this bag before. It's so comfortable, with heaps of space for everything. It's simply brilliant.

I love it! It have the perfect size for carry on in the plane and at the same time perfect for the university.

i was scouting for a proper backpack for about 2 weeks...i was planing to buy targus...but when i reached the mall i was very disappointed with the targus backpack quality and design...they look very nice in photos...so there i saw this backpack everki flight...and the moment i saw i fell in love with it...recently i went traveling with this bag a whole day of walking in city and it was so comfortable...and it has very large room to pack all your belongings...i would surely recommend this product...not gonna look at any other backpack after this... good work EVERKI!!!

I had a laptop bag that kept ripping and decided to get a backpack instead. I decided to spring for this backpack based on the reviews and the checkpoint-friendly feature because I travel a lot.
Result: AWESOME!
The backpack is built to last, and looks pretty slick, too. The laptop fold-out section makes security a breeze (it really does work). It also has room for my touchpad, my zune, headphones, cell phone...This is all I need to travel with.
Overall: Sturdy, sexy, roomy, organized, and comfortable.
I will definitely continue to use this brand, although looking at this bag I doubt I'll ever need a second one.

I was looking for this model since it was launched and finally it actually arrived. The Everki distributor were awesomely friendly and generously helpful. As for the bag, it was great. I just got it for a week and have not put the 5-point strap system into test. The compartments in the bag is all very thoughtfully designed. I have yet to fill them all up. The things that grind my gears are, the side pocket is not as wide to fit my aluminum tumbler. Also, if the shoulder strap have a cellphone pocket big enough for a Blackberry, it would be a perfect design. locating any cellphone in the side pocket wouldn't allow me to hear it when its ringing. same goes for mp3 player. It would be easier for us traveler for adjusting the volume from the shoulder strap. All and all, I have lots of bags and The Flight is one of my top 5.

The 16" Flight Checkpoint backpack is everything it claims plus more. It makes going through security much easier with the easy access to the notebook compartment. My last backpack was a major brand model and the access to items in the Everki backpack is so much simpler. Everything is much more accessible making work on planes easier. I am extremely happy with my purchase and recommend Everki to everyone that comments on it, which happens frequently.

If you have a MacBook Pro 17", you know how hard it is to find a decent bag that actually fits it's long size. I took a chance with this bag--it says it only fits a 16" laptop, but I'm happy to say that it DOES fit a 17" MacBook Pro easily. Although the laptop does stick up a little more than other laptops would, the zipper slides easily around the corners, and I had zero trouble getting the laptop in or out of the bag, and felt confident that it was protected.
I've taken this bag on two flights so far, and am very pleased with the performance. It was SO EASY to put the bag on the scanner and unzip the laptop compartment side, and SO CONVENIENT to not have to remove the laptop during scanning. All the zippers on the bag have large, black teeth and are very sturdy--but have the additional benefit of being easy to quickly zip open and closed. I cut prep time in half on the scanners because the laptop side was so easy to use and put on the scanner.
I find the backpack incredibly comfortable. In other bags, it's very easy to feel the laptop in the bag, making it feel uncomfortable on your back, but the padding is sturdy and well positioned on this bag. In fact, the padding is so thick and protective that I had no qualms in putting my bag with my laptop in the overhead compartment.
I hate checking luggage, so I used the backpack as my sole carry on--laptop in the back compartment, clothes in the large center area (they're kept separated by the sleeve designed for an iPad--but I used it to carry my notepad I use for work), cosmetics and toiletries on the other side of the divider in the center compartment, and a paperback in the front pocket. It carries a surprisingly large amount of stuff--I had no problem packing everything I needed for a weekend, including dress clothes and a light sweater.
My husband recommended Everki based on great customer service and the way Everki stands behind their warranty. I'm happy to say that I couldn't be more pleased!
