I love this backpack !!
Review by
This is my second Concept 2 Backpack. The first one finally gave out after 2 Million miles. That's about as good as one can possibly hope for.

With luck, this second backpack will get me to retirement !

Great long lasting!

Wow! What a great backpack! My husband had his original Concept backpack for 17 years before it finally self destructed. We just bought him a new one. Hope this next one lasts as long!

Way too expensive

1. The handle is not big enough around and seems cheap and flimsy.
2. The front pocket doesn’t zip far enough down. If you have anything in the bottom of the front pocket, you can’t see it and have to search around for it.
3. The color contrast is excellent.
4. The shoulder straps need some work.

Great backpack this my second one, 1st one I had for 10 years still in great shape, an accident ruined it and my choice was to buy the same one again.

Perfect for this business owner|operator.

Absolutely thrilled to have this backpack. I'm an on-the-move cybersecurity professional and business owner and this pack has been everything I need and more. The hardened sunglass case was a bit large for my taste but, I wound up repurposing it for some peripheral devices and business cards. I love the way this bag will stand on its own when I set it down, not mention the corner footings used to add an additional layer of protection for my laptop. The bright inner lining makes things easy to find and I'm a big fan of the RFID-shielding pocket inside. The bigger zippers, the rainfly in the bottom pocket; it's very clear to me a lot of thought went into the design, look and feel of this backpack. I much prefer backpacks over suitcases or man-purses/satchels (even if Indiana Jones did wear one). I can walk into a business meeting with this backpack knowing it makes its own professional appearance.

The price is justified by the quality.

Excellent construction and protection for your computer or iPad. Lots of room and lots of pockets. Easy to carry even when it’s full. Well worth the investment.

2 Years Old and Still Going Strong!
Review by
I bought this bag nearly 2 years ago. I'm the father of an extremely competitive athlete and we on the road pretty much every weekend for 8 months of the year. This bag has been with us across 23 states now and is still going strong. I literally use this bag every single day. Hardly any wear. No issues with zippers. I've never had a better bag.

Best Bag I've Ever Owned.
Review by
I can't say enough good things about this bag. the level of protection for my iPad and laptop (Alienware X17 R2) are beyond any bag I've had before. The soft lining not only helps protect against scuffs and scratches, but elevates the quality of the bag and shows Everki's attention to detail. The level of fit and finish is similarly top tier across the entire product, from the organization to the zippers. The hard case for sunglasses is an amazing addition and is large enough to safely hold my shades and my mouse with room to spare. I love the addition of the RFID pocket. The design of the bag feels more professional than the typical laptop pack, without sacrificing any of its functionality; a perfect middle ground. The quick access pouch on the front has already proven to be very useful, and the bottom storage pocket for the rain cover can be reallocated for other uses by not carrying the cover or storing it elsewhere in the bag. I appreciate the divider in the main pouch as it helps me in my need to hyper organize things into specific areas of the bag. The only bag I've ever had that comes close is my Filson Briefcase, but I can only carry a 15" laptop in that so it is sadly not functional for carrying my tech around anymore and I really don't like needing two bags to transport everything.

My only two nitpicky critiques for improvement would be that I wish there were more pen slots (an admittedly unique request for being an architect), and the sternum strap tends to get hooked under the shoulder strap when putting the bag on until things get broken in enough that it rest more loosely. These don't even come close to making me regret the purchase though, and I consider the bag to be well worth the price tag.

Good quality - 2 issues

All as advertised. One issue is the zipper (very heavy duty) on the back pocket is stuck and will not release. I cannot imagine what would allow a fix or replacement. Major PITA. That sucks but otherwise, the bag is very high quality.
In order to access the computer laptop pocket, you have to bend the straps forward otherwise you are blocked from removal (e.g. when sending it through airport scan. No big deal, but just a slight inconvenience.)
