I returned it I do not like buying things from China

This is the bag I've been looking for. I had an older Everki model ten years ago and it was great... I traveled all over the world with it. I stopped traveling for a while and then recently found myself in the market for a new bag. I looked all around, trying lots of different manufacturers, but in the end I came back to Everki and specifically the Onyx. This bag is an upgrade from everything else I tried, and over the old bag too. The orange interior makes it super-easy to find things. It sits upright better, and the double handles on top keep it upright. There are TONS of pockets and access points, but just the right ones - for example the magnetic clasp pocket is great for quick access to chargers. And the built-in glasses case! Really just everything I would want in a bag, all in one place.

Love that the main compartment has room for a 16" MacBook Pro AND a 12" iPad Pro, and the secondary compartment still has plenty of room for books or a change of clothes. This is a super usable and super well-built backpack.

Fantastic business backpack! I bought this to fly/walk to work with and it is just what I was after. The top 'sunglass' pocket is really handy for quick access to keys, airpods, glasses, wallet etc, and the internal space for laptop/ipad storage is well padded and large enough for my Toshiba Tecra 15.6" laptop. The quick access magnet-closure front pocket is really handy for boarding passes and bits of paper you need to access quickly and easily, and the internal 'luggage' space has plenty of room for a pair of shoes, over-ear headphones, cables, water bottle, umbrella etc. My only mild concern is the side pockets - they're pretty small and won't really fit any average-sized reusable water bottle. Good for other stuff, but not a decent bottle. Other than that, I'm thrilled with the quality and functionality. Not a cheap backpack, but I still think it's great value - does exactly what I bought it for.

This perfectly designed backpack is ruined by horribly design straps. The backpack itself is the best I found and I love it so much I’ve tried to find someone that will so new straps onto it for me. The straps it ships with are an odd c shape that push all the weight of the backpack to the outside of your shoulder. If you try to carry it with one strap, it immediately falls off the outside of your shoulder. When you carry it with two straps it tries to fall off of both shoulders. I’ve owned five or six business backpacks and have never experienced such uncomfortable, un-functional, and aggregating straps as these. As much as I love the functionality of the bag, I have to suggest you run the other direction based on the design of the straps.

Its a good quality bag , looks small than expectation , but pockets fill out and and it expands , to cover all my requirements , so smaller is better

Great bag great quality

I purchased an earlier version of the product I recently purchased from you guys on Sept 2016. The reason I decided to replace the product is because one of the zippers became detached from the fabric and My choice was to replace the whole product (which is what I did) or try to get someone to repair the damaged backpack which would mean I would have zero backpack for a time which I did not want to do. I originally decided to purchase your product because I thought it might be indestructible AND because it has a brightly colored interior which makes locating objects a lot easier. Well, it was NOT indestructible, but it did last for a long while. The new one is OK but I miss the interior webbing on an interior zip pocket which is a big benefit because one can see through the webbing. I wish you had retained the webbing. I customized both products by attaching a sling type strap which is faster and more comfortable than the 2 smaller shoulder straps. The product is better than any other I know but could still be improved by getting it to last longer, adding interior see through webbing materiel, and offering a sling strap version. It is also very expensive. I'm lucky I can afford it

First, I'd like to mention how amazing the EVERKI team is. I needed to make a change to my order. Their service in handling it was fantastic.

In terms of the bag itself, the design is near perfection. Every piece of organization is so well-thought-out. It is every bit as good as the marketing materials. No brand has better designs.

The reason I gave it 4 stars, rather than 5, is the workmanship. For a nearly $300 bag, I was a bit disappointed in the quality when I unpacked the bag. The materials are good, not great. The stitching appears to be poor. My last two bags were from Aer and Waterfield Designs. The EVERKI bag did not appear to be not on the same level.

If the bag holds up over time, then the quality concerns are unfounded. I hope to edit my review as I get more time with the bag.

Hi Everki, I am reluctant to use other brand names, but in this circumstance find it helps you understand my perspective. I have and continue to have a great experience with Tumi. i went from a tumi roller back pack to a leather one because the rollers took too much room and weight. i switched from a leather tumi to a ballastic nylon flip top becuse i needed a little more room. now with more electronics and work paraphernalia. the Tumi simply didnt work as it is geared too much towards travel than for everyday use. for me Everki was an unknown name. my search for a daily use business/2-3 day travel back pack started with 28 brands to review. the search was narrowed down to 4 then 2 then Everki. I have had the business backpack for two weeks and am very happy with it. there are many additional pockets to put items such as ear buds and chargers cables and adaptors, plus the hard eyeglass case is great. the contrasting interior colour lets me distinguish between items. one tipping point for me and my last bag is that my wallet is similar size to a lap top transformer. i thought i had my wallet when i did not, which caused undo stress. now with everkis specialized side pocket for wallets and passports, it has eliminated my misplacement of important items in some cavernous pocket. the lap top section is well thought out, and easy to use with a handy corner strap to keep the device in place. also the bag is squared and not pear shaped so it doesn't always fall over when you put it down. i haven't had it long enough to test how rain proof it is, but it has handled the snow well. so far it has exceeded my expectations. it is a great value to the dollar. i use all the straps and carrying handles, and the pouches on each side I've used for water, epi pens and even brought a roll of tin (aluminum) foil home. this is a great daily work back pack that I could use for maybe up to 2 nights as a travel carry on. the pockets and storage points are clever. it is comfortable to wear and the strap design lets you sling it over one shoulder. I may not want to recommend this pack too highly as i don't want to see everyone with one. as it is distinctive well made and unique. another positive is receiving the bag within two days of ordering it on a Sunday afternoon.
