How to measure your laptop
Screen size (like 17.3") is the diagonal of the display—two 17.3" laptops can have very different chassis sizes. Measure the closed laptop at its widest points.
- Width: measure left-to-right at the widest point (include any side edges or vents).
- Depth: measure front-to-back including hinge bars and any rear overhang/exhaust housing.
- Thickness: measure the thickest point (include rubber feet and any raised areas).
- Compare your measurements to 16.5" x 11.1" x 1.5". If any dimension is over, it may not fit comfortably.
Tip: If your laptop is close to the limit (or has a rear exhaust “bump-out”), size up to an 18.4" bag to avoid a tight fit.

Amazing backpack! I can finally fit my laptop, tablet, airpods, headphones, books, power bank and cables, my water bottle, and still have space to put a jacket inside if I need to! The Onyx really changed my way of commuting!

While this perfectly-sized carryon is ostensibly made for a laptop and other tech gear I was able to fit a week's worth of clothing into it over the Fourth--as well as my laptop, phone, shades and a book--so just had this single piece of luggage to deal with. This lovely travel accessory is built to an almost military-grade level of ruggedness, with a host of features that vastly improve the usefulness and security of any other business item I've experienced. Everki has truly hit the ball out of the park with this one; if you're a frequent traveler, whether by air, car or foot, I can testify that you won't be disappointed in any regard.

This backpack is truly made for the business professional! Everyone is used to the briefcase style of things when it comes to business professional, but this is the first time I've had a bag that truly fits my need at the work space. Don't get me wrong, you can use it for casual use as well, because i sure do! I have been getting so many comments and praises from this bag. The material is great, the straps are designed well, and there is so much space and pockets! This is a must have if you are looking for a backpack that can fit your needs

Got this as a birthday gift. The Onyx backpack is a great bag for this modern, mobile tech world. Not only it is made of quality materials, but is intelligent in space allocation and storage of of electronic devices and office documents. It travels very well not only on airlines but also trains and long automobile commute distances.
My only complaint is this quick-access magazine/newspaper slot. I find this as a big liability as it does not close well (no zipper) and my papers easily fall out. I sincerely hope the next iteration of this bag will delete this feature or have a zipper closing feature.
