Intuitive design
Yes, the Beacon has lots of large compartments, but that’s not all that makes it so innovative. We’ve designed intuitive spaces for smart organization, buckles and straps positioned for on-the-fly adjustments, and additional front pockets for fingertip access. The dedicated laptop compartment is roomy enough for the most behemoth 18-inch laptop, and in the main storage area, you’ll find a large zippered pocket, dividers, and an assortment of multifunction accessory slots. A clever buckle system allows the main compartment to open halfway for quick access or a full 180 degrees for easy loading; and quick access hip pockets are easily accessible without having to remove the bag from your back. Gaming console protection
We created the Beacon with the serious gamer in mind. Its main front compartment opens to reveal a fully removable padded sleeve large enough to comfortably fit a Wii, Xbox, or PS series console. The sleeve fits neatly in the main compartment without affecting the ability to carry a laptop, and still leaves room for documents and a few accessories. Additional interior pockets let you keep control of items like cables, chargers, and mouse. Efficiently carry what you need for any gaming expedition.
All-weather protection
We go the extra mile to protect your valuables from the elements, because there’s no telling when you will find yourself stuck in inclement weather with expensive gear on your back. The Beacon’s bottom pocket contains a water-resistant weather cover that stretches to neatly slip over the entire exposed surface of the bag and protects your equipment and documents against rain, snow, or dust. The covering easily detaches to allow for convenient cleaning and drying and can be quickly replaced when you’re ready for your next adventure.
Ergonomically designed
When your backpack is fully loaded it can get heavy, so we engineered a 5-point balance strap system to ergonomically distribute the weight and reduce muscle strain. With straps that adjust at the shoulders, 2 quick-slide straps at the bottom and one across the chest, you have total control over weight distribution. This allows you balanced comfort, even when your backpack is full. The Beacon’s ergonomically designed carry system also boasts a padded back panel with mesh padding and airflow channels to provide maximum air circulation for breathability. Easy-lift dual handles
Manage your burden with ease with the Beacon’s dual handles, located at the top and the lower front side of the bag to allow you to conveniently get a grip on your bag and more easily maneuver it for packing and unpacking.
Cable management
Cables tangled around your backpack straps? No more. The Beacon’s shoulder straps provide a means to temporarily hang sunglasses and headphones. They work with the side pocket’s cable outlet to route cables and prevent breakage due to tangling.
High-contrast lining

The build quality is incredible. I only had one small issue with the zip but Everki took care of me very quickly.
This company is amazing! And so is this backpack :-)
I also just had to replace mine because of the stitching on the zipper came apart. I contacted customer support and they were very helpful. Within the same day Everki emailed me back saying they were sorry about what happened to my backpack and they wanted to send me a brand new one!!! The lifetime warranty really was held up to the company's standards. This is a company I would recommend to anyone!

This backpack is actually the best backpack EVER! The craftsmanship and design is unrivaled by any other backpack that will also fit 18 in laptops. It has more than enough pockets to store away any of my gadgets and tech stuff. It is very comfortable even when carrying around 25 lbs worth of books and computer equipment. It protects everything inside extremely well. Shoulder straps are very comfortable and easy to adjust. The rain shield add on is extremely useful and a wonderful little add on. Extremely sturdy! BUT WHAT SETS THIS APART FROM ANY BACKPACK you will ever buy is the lifetime warranty and the AMAZING customer service which I had previously thought to be non existent. The customer service I received from everki after one of the zippers on the backpack got damaged, was MIND-BLOWING!! Within 3 days of contacting them and providing the necessary pictures, I received another brand new backpack in the mail. WITHIN 3 DAYS!!!! I thought I was dreaming. Anyways this backpack was WORTH EVERY PENNY! The amazing quality, design, workmanship, warranty and customer service make this backpack IMPOSSIBLE to beat! Simple as that. EVERKI, you guys rock! And to everyone who ever gets a chance to read my review, if you are looking for a backpack look no further and purchase a new Everki backpack because you will not regret it, and for once in your life you will feel that you matter and are appreciated as a customer, the way it's meant to be!
I was worried that this bag might be too big for me, but it is slim, spacious, and comfortable to carry all at the same time.

Easily fit my laptop, laptop accessories, school notes, stationary cases, bottle and still have tons of space remaining where it'd fully squeezed in my old bag. With the huge compartment space, it could be also used as my travelling bag for clothes and stuffs.
Only a few minor (picky) flaws, which the first is the extra holder. It is indeed reinforced and strong to be used and lift the bag. However, with it's placement horizontally right behind the bag, it easily traps thing when I'm walking, such as the some sort of "metal designs" of a gate/door. Had to take off my bag to "unstuck" it. The second minor flaw is the padding material used for the straps. It feels rough and hurts a little when it is pulled against the skin (shoulder).
Overall this should be a good enough laptop bag for everyday uses or during travels given it's price AND the lifetime warranty, even though this is my first expensive bag that I've ever bought. Definitely will purchase another bag from Everki again in the future if they keep up the good works!
