How to measure your laptop
To know whether your device will fit, you’ll need to measure it.
IMPORTANT: Please use the MAX DIMENSIONS above. Screen size alone is not a reliable indicator of overall device dimensions.
- Measure your device’s width and height from edge to edge.
- Measure thickness at the thickest point (often near the hinge).
- If you use a hard-shell case or sleeve, measure with it on.
- Compare your measurements to 42 x 28.3 x 3.8 cm maximum.
Tip: If you’re close to the limit, remove bulky cases and store the power brick in the main compartment for a smoother zip.

The Concept 2 is the most durable, well built backpack I have ever owned. I bought one a little more than three years ago and use it for EDC. Usual contents include; a MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, iPad Pro, overnight toiletries, a change of clothes, daily meds, pens, pencils, multiple cables and charging accessories, two flashlights, several other utility items, and a piece with 3 mags. I also use it as traveling luggage. It’s been my carry-on bag on more than a dozen plane trips and endured two cross country car road trips. The heavy duty build quality is superb. I’ve never had a problem with content weight and/or stuffing it to the max. The hardy stitching and reinforcements are perfectly placed. This pack set the bar for me.

The Concept 2 is the Everest of Everki. Extremely well designed and built. Right-sized it holds its contents securely, plenty of room without squeezing things in, but is not overly large. A very comfortable carry, balanced to sling on one shoulder and an easy secure fit on your luggage. This is my second Everki pack. The Studio was a work horse for 10 years. Everki replaced it free of charge after zippers failed at 10 years. If you want a quality product and a reliable manufacturer go Everki. You won’t regret it.

The Concept 2 is an upgrade in every way. From the improved tablet sleeve, to an RFID pocket, and trolley pass through, it has everything I need. I’ve had my original Concept for 6~7 years, and it’s served me well as a daily carry pack. But the improved Concept 2 features made me want to upgrade as soon as I could. This backpack is pretty big, yet perfect for my every day work use. And being 6’ tall at 205 lbs, it fits me just fine.

I am frankly not one to take the time to write reviews, good or bad. Full disclosure, I had never heard of Everki and stumbled upon them online, looking for a good laptop backpack to travel with, in lieu of my satchel laptop briefcase. Wow! What a game changer. This backpack has exceeded my expectations and has set the bar very high to it’s competition. As an architect, I appreciate good design and Everki has done a remarkable job of tailoring this backpack to your every need. Great design with awesome looks, outstanding padding, numerous well placed pockets, with a center of gravity close to the body and yet it can sit standing up without falling over. I could not be more pleased with my purchase and highly recommend Everki to anyone looking for a high quality backpack.
