The main compartment opens flat. A roll-up mesh divider holds clothes in place when packed and stows at the bottom for full access on workdays, with two large mesh pockets for the small stuff.

A floating, felt-lined sleeve keeps your laptop clear of ground knocks, with a separate felt-lined tablet pocket. The laptop is held by an elastic retention strap. Not a single piece of velcro in the bag.

How to measure your laptop
To know whether your laptop will fit, you'll need to measure it.
IMPORTANT: Please use the MAX DIMENSIONS as a guide when determining whether your laptop will fit. Laptop size, which is based on screen size, is not a good indicator of actual device dimensions.
Measure your laptop's width and height from edge to edge.
Measure thickness at the thickest point (often near the hinge).
If you use a hard-shell case, measure with it on.
Compare your measurements to the 15.4 x 10.8 x 1 in (39 x 27.5 x 2.5 cm) maximum.
Tip: If you're close to the limit, measure thickness at the hinge. The sleeve needs a little clearance for easy access.
Fits standard item trackers. It is secured in place with a flap inside the pocket. Tracker not included.
The included raincover is stored at the bottom of the front tech compartment. Pulls over the bag when the weather turns.

The chest strap is in the box. Clip it on when the load is heavy, stow it to one side when it is not, or take it off completely.

Moves weight off your shoulders and onto your hips, which is what you feel on hour three in a terminal. The pouch keeps your phone and passport in reach.
Stands on its own
Set it down and it stays upright. No tipping forward, no leaning it against a wall, no dirt on the back panel.
Load lifters
Straps at the top of the shoulder harness pull the load closer to your back, so a fully packed 38L rides lighter than it looks.

840D recycled water-repellent fabric
The outer shell is 840 x 840D recycled polyester. It shrugs off splashes and light weather, and an integrated rain cover stashes in the front compartment for the heavy stuff.
Water-resistant non-coated zippers
No coating to flake or peel, and smoother action for the long haul. The main compartment runs extra-large #10 zippers built for heavy packing.
Burnt orange interior. Find things fast.
The 150D recycled lining is bright burnt orange, so dark gear stops disappearing at the bottom of the bag.

In Compact Mode, yes on most major US carriers. Collapsed, the bag measures 19.5 x 13.7 x 7.8 in (49.5 x 34.8 x 19.8 cm), inside the common 22 x 14 x 9 in domestic carry-on ceiling. Expanded Mode reaches 11 in deep and exceeds the depth limit, so fly compact and expand when you land. Always check your airline, limits vary.
How much does it hold?
32L in Compact Mode, up to 38L expanded. The expansion zipper grows the bag from 7.8 in to 11 in deep for 1-3 day trips, and the compression straps bring it back down for daily carry. Total weight is 3.64 lb (1.65 kg) including the chest strap.
What's included with the bag?
EVERKI ONE ships with a detachable chest strap, an integrated rain cover, a removable and repositionable D-ring, and a roll-up mesh divider in the main compartment. Packing cubes and the hip belt are available separately.
