Business 120 | EVERKI

Large enough for life
The EKP120. This is where function meets form. We’ve designed this backpack to be large enough to hold what you need, yet intuitive enough to find things where you expect them. Countless hours were spent designing, redesigning and testing the EKP120 to ensure the quality, versatility and style you’ve come to expect from an EVERKI bag. Our passion for function and a relentless attention to detail makes the EKP120 a veritable powerhouse. You require large compartments and high functionality, but you don’t want to compromise on form. So the EKP120 is tailored to be spacious, yet stylish and sleek – with black exterior and high-contrast orange interior. We created the EKP120 to be just what you’re looking for.

Intuitive design
Yes, The EKP120 has lots of large compartments, but that’s not what makes it so innovative. We’ve designed intuitive spaces for smart organization, buckles and straps positioned for on-the-fly adjustments; and pockets, pouches and slots for fingertip access.
The extra large laptop compartment is roomy enough for the most behemoth 18.4-inch laptop. In the main storage area, you’ll find large, divided spaces which allow you to keep chargers and power supplies separate from fragile files and documents. The felt-lined tablet pocket safely secures your iPad or Kindle, while the front compartment allows you to store business cards, pens, calculators or peripherals. And the soft, scratch free, lined portable media player pocket with cable outlet is positioned right at shoulder level to give you enough length in your cord for comfortable, slack free use.

Travel friendly
Airport security can be a big hassle, so we designed the EKP120 with our hassle-free 180 degree fold-out design. The Checkpoint Friendly laptop compartment allows you to breeze through airport security without removing your device from its compartment. Simply open the EKP120 up 180 degrees, lay it flat, and your bag will quickly pass through the scanner. Should you need to remove your laptop, you can take it out and replace it without rummaging through your backpack or removing other contents. Take the EKP120 on the plane with you. It’s designed to fit in the cabin above and in most cases, under the seat. It’s that friendly.

Ergonomically designed
When your backpack is fully loaded it can get heavy, so we engineered a 5-point balance strap system to ergonomically distribute the weight and reduce muscle strain. With pillow-soft straps adjustable at the shoulders, 2 quick-slide straps at the bottom and one across the chest; you have total control over weight distribution. This allows you balanced comfort, even when your backpack is full. The EKP120’s ergonomically designed carry system also boasts a padded back panel, mesh padding and deep airflow channels to provide maximum air circulation for breathability. The EKP120: cool comfort, total control.

Security and protection
Your equipment is valuable, so we added multiple layers of padded protection, a security strap to keep your device in place, and super soft felt that ensures your laptop is secure and safe – even when traveling. The interior of the tablet pocket is also felt-lined and properly sized for an iPad, Kindle or other tablet to minimize damage caused by slipping and sliding. The EKP120 also comes with a water-resistant weather cover to protect your gear from the elements. The large metal zippers come with lock holes to keep your contents safe. Don’t worry, you’re covered.

Accessories pouch
You don’t want your power brick to get in the way or become a tangled mess. That’s why we designed the Accessories Pouch to separate your mouse, chargers, power supplies and cables from your more sensitive items.
High-contrast lining
All EVERKI interiors are stylish, high-contrast orange because we know how frustrating it is to mistakenly leave a compartment unzipped, and how difficult it is to organize against a black background. Savvy and Stylish.

Large zippers and metal pulls
Have you ever broken a zipper on your favorite bag? We have. That’s why we designed the EKP120 using heavy duty metal zippers with extra large pulls. So your favorite backpack can remain your favorite backpack.
Media player outlet
Cables tangled around your backpack straps? No more. The EKP120 comes equipped with a media-player compartment at shoulder level – and it’s designed so you can keep your cables at just the perfect length.

Customer Reviews
There is not many business’s as good as these guys around these guys
One word of caution: don’t over pack this thing. It will hold WAY more than you will want to lug through the airport. [Don’t ask how I know]
- laptop
- tablet
- portable display
- wireless mic set
- 2 power bricks
- 1.5 l water bottle
- lunchbox
- 1 l thermos for tea plus tea mug
- lots of cables and adapters
- small first aid kit
I have also used this backpack as my carryon for international flights. No trouble here.
I am continually amazed at how much I can fit into this backpack.
In addition, Everki support has been very generous with replacing my bag when it started to come apart.
Even after more than ten years, I think there's not really any comparable product. Most laptop backpacks are significantly smaller. Most larger backpacks are not geared towards laptop use.
Overall, the best bag I've ever had by a long shot.
But it can always be improved upon.
-Would be nice to have a little manual going over all the spaces and features, just for flavor and maybe showing off a few bonus ways to utilize certain things.
-I'm a skinny guy. Straps can't go tight enough to reach perfect comfort for me. They come really close, so it isn't terrible.
-Hanging strap could be slightly longer.
This bag is great for travel as I can fit everything I need and make sure I have it with me whenever necessary. It fits my chunky gaming laptop easily.
The bag also has an amazing build quality and has lasted me for close to 10 years now.
1. SPACE. While it is large (as desired), the space is not well allocated for my purposes. The primary compartments are tall, wide, and shallow. If I were stuffing some clothes into the bag in order to reserve my carry-on for my violin, the clothing would have to be piled up vertically in the same compartment as my work supplies. And even this main compartment is further divided vertically in half, making it even more tall, wide, and skinny.
2. PROPORTION. I'm 5'4" and 112 lbs. I'm strong for my size, but it's just ... unwieldy. I couldn't get into the car and put it next to me because it was too bulky to swing over the steering wheel, making it impractical for daily use around town (back and forth to coffee shops & from work to home).
3. COMPARTMENTS. The sizes are oddly sized and not well suited for my typical supplies. Specifically:
• The side compartments are sliiightly smaller than my laptop charger, so it sticks up out of the top. And they are MUCH too small for a travel mug or water bottle.
• The interior pen-sized pockets don't have bottoms.
• The two square pockets seem designed for a 3.5" floppy disc. They're way too big for business cards, and too flat for my wireless mouse.
• I'm not sure what to use the 11" x 6" x 0" pocket for.
• There is no compartment that might keep my studio-quality headphones safe from getting crushed.
I was so committed to my choice that I was planning to take scissors and remove the dividing panel in the main compartment, to make this space roomier and more versatile. My husband helpfully observed that 1) the bag reminded him of how small I actually am, and 2) for the price, I should not have to take scissors to the bag to make it work.
So, I appreciate the bag's durability and many compartments, but this laptop bag seems better suited for someone whose primary purpose is carrying several laptops.
Also, the bottom corners of the laptop pocket are left open (WHY?) and are not padded. I am going to have to close and pad the lower corners of the laptop pocket to ensure that my laptop is protected.
The side pockets are not big enough to be much use.
Since the backpack is "checkpoint friendly", there should be an RFID-protected compartment or pocket in the backpack.
Also, a second laptop pocket in the laptop compartment would be an excellent addition. It's virtually impossible to find backpacks capable of accommodating more than one laptop. This one manages - just.
If these are corrected, the laptop design and function would be greatly improved.
My only 2 complaints is the carry handle and the water bottle pouch. The water bottle pouch does not hold a water bottle very securely and the zipper is always sliding downward. The piece of material the holds the elastic cord to secure the water bottle in place tore after about 9 months. The handle needs to be more securely attached to the bag. The material where the handle is attached started separating along the zipper stitch line on both sides. With my heavy computer, cables and other electronics i carry for work, the handle started tearing after about a year or so. If the handle was reinforced with some type of stiffer material (nylon/plastic for example) on the inside of the bag then there would be no stress on the stitching.
I really liked the inclusion of the organizer slots in one of the side pouches. The quality of the bag is readily apparent, and the organization options are top notch. Had the Concept 2 been out of my price range, or more than I was willing to spend I would have gladly used the Business 120 for many years to come.
Very happy with the product.
Stitching is still fine, all zips work. Nothing has broken. I've used it in some pretty harsh environments when I probs shouldn't have but still going and most importantly my laptop is not damaged.
Plenty of room as advertised, I've been able to go 17.4 inch laptop and playstation, or even 2 17 inch laptops (tight fit)
It is a large bag but dont let that be a negative. The compression straps do a good job of reducing overall size. When working fifo it had room for clothes saving me needing a suitcase. Couldn't be happier with it.
Limited Lifetime warranty.
I bought my Titan few years ago, love it. Very durable, comfortable, padded/protection, strong easy gliding zippers, compartments and zipper sections for everything you'd want or need. My backpack is heavily used....I travel for work 120+ days a year, on and off planes, in and out of convention centers, grabbing it all the time... It gets USED. If you want a big, rugged, backpack for laptop, chargers, accessories, snacks, jacket, coming home with extra souvenirs for the family, etc etc, then the Titan has it all. Space and pockets for everything and then some. Its awesome. And comfortable.
One issue I encountered; after a couple of years, my bag lost the cushion in one of the straps, or it folded over inside the strap and stretched out... it got uncomfortable. After contacting Titan with this and sending a picture over, they gave me several options to get a new bag. within 2 days I had a new one shipped! The customer support was absolutely wonderful and appreciated.
NOTE: The new bag has wider and thicker straps; looks like they addressed what I thought was the only weak point of the Titan.
I highly recommend Everki. The Quality is excellent. And their customer support is A+
Seven years later, and it hardly showed any wear. It has fallen off of tables fully loaded before without damaging the precious contents, been through several downpours running to the car without the included rain jacket--no water made it through! Most importantly, Everki stands behind their limited lifetime warranty. I had a couple failing seams on the straps (mind you, 7 years after purchase) and they replaced it free of charge! This fact alone should make you want to buy this bag, since you'll only have to buy it once! Excellent company with an excellent product.
Not only is this bag ergonomic, has many pockets for organisation, it comes with absolutely fantastic support. When a small item on my bag broke I contacted Everki and they sent me a replacement as pasrt of their limited Lifetime Warranty. Good job guys!
The things I love, which is why I gave it 3 stars. If you are a man considering purchase, definitely get this bag, it will be 5-stars for you:
(1) There are so many organization pockets. It is really important to me to be able to know where everything is and find it without looking or digging when in a tight space.
(2) The zippers and stitching are very high quality. I expect this will last for many years.
(3) It has a sleek design, so I feel I can take it into work and still get into my office to unpack while looking professional.
(4) The padding on the straps and back are very thick and cushy, which is great for carrying heavy loads.
The things that lost 2 stars are really only specific to me being a woman, if you have narrow shoulders, or if you are a generally small person:
(1) The straps on the shoulders are fixed in static position too high up, and the suspension system does not allow for enough give even if you loosen them all the way. The bag should be able to tilt further off the back and also draw closer into the back (depending on the heft and type of load that is being carried), but it does not do this very basic thing that most suspension systems do better. Plenty of tactical and high tech bags are able to do this better (Everki designers, take a look at Osprey packs for some guidance on how to build a suspension system in a city or travel backpack).
(2) The chest strap is much too low. Even if you do not have breasts, it is still not in an ergonomically advisable position as even men have different centers of gravity. That is why most hiking packs and other bags with chest straps have a wider area of being able to slide it up or down. This one is too narrow of a range and basically could accommodate flat chested people between 5’6” and 5’8”. If you are shorter or taller than this, likely it will not be in a comfortable position and cause back strain. Again, Everki designers, take a hint from the dozens of well made bags out there. For the ladies, I am going to get around this by sliding it all the way down and using it as a torso strap instead. If you are also <120lbs with a small frame, this should work for you. If not, I recommend purchasing attachable straps and fixing them on yourself—most hiking supply stores can help you here.
(3) It would be nice to have one of the side pockets be a taller one for something like a coffee mug or umbrella instead for the short side pockets with flimsy little straps to hold bottles in place.
(4) There should be attachable (and preferably) tuckable/hidable padded waist straps for a bag this large—regardless of the size of the person wearing it, that is just common sense and a poorly planned design in my opinion having carried dozens of packs over my career. When the straps are tucked along the back, they would provide lumbar support, when they are out, they will secure around the waist. Please add to future designs.
All in all, I will use this bag because it really does seem the best way to keep my really expensive and really large work computer safe. However, Everki should hire some women and consult with some outdoor supply/hiking experts. Even a city bag needs some of these common and helpful features. I will be able to rig this bag to work for me because I have years of experience doing this for made-for-men products, but many people will not know how to do this safely.
A few weeks ago (May 2019) I noticed a small problem with one of the zips. I emailed Everki, expecting that it might now be far to late to do anything about it. But Everki, true to their word, with no fuss, offered to replace the bag and I now have a brand new Titan. If that is not a recipe for brand loyalty then I don't know what is.
Sturdy and comfortable shoulder straps, even when fully loaded.
A vast array of pockets, sleeves and pouches within, make it easy to store the bits and pieces - a place for everything and everything in its place.
I am a road warrior - and I am very fussy about the equipment I travel with. For the last 5 years I have been lugging around a 18.4 Dell Alienware computer in my backpack - also loaded with lot of other gear. This laptop had destroyed 2 other (non-Everki) backpacks in less than the first 4 months. They just could not handle the weight! So - I went searching for a new back pack - and found Everki. To be honest, at first I was sceptical - but after I got the backpack and went on my first trip - I was sold! I have at many times just thrown the backpack over one shoulder - and the strap had no problem with that weight! There were many times I had about 40 lbs in the backpack and it has held up incrediably well over the years!
This packpack has all the pockets and storage you will need. I would carry around a 18.4" laptop, it's huge power bar, two tablets, cables, mice, folders, papers, presentation projector, security devices, etc. I never had any issues not only fitting it all in - but finding places to put them.
Everki's warranty is all that they claim as well. I had lost a strap (it fell off) - and they had a new strap to me within days of reporting it. Their support team was polite and prompt - and once they verified what had gone wrong - they fully supported their product!
The only thing I would recommend for Everki to change on this backpack - would be to put a little more padding/cushion at the bottom-back of the backpack - where the laptop is at. When I would lay the backpack down at times - it felt that it could use some additional padding there. But I never had any damage - so I guess there is enough padding after all.
This is a top notch product! I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the Titan back pack and Everki to anyone... When I need a new one - I will be purchasing another Everki backpack.

I also use this bag to transport my laptop to and from work on my motorcycle and it works amazingly well.
I unfortunately broke one of the clips and Everki offered to just replace the bag! Even though I just wanted to buy a new clip and fix the bag I had.
Amazing customer service even when it was clearly my fault the clip broke.
Highly HIGHLY recommend this bag to anyone looking for a large laptop bag.
I bought this bag because of a friends experience with Everki and I will be recommending them to everyone I know as well. Everki has a customer for life in me.
