The backpack with premium features and smart styling.
EVERKI’s Concept backpack is designed for the mobile professional who demands organizational functionality and won’t sacrifice on style. We’ve crafted the Concept using our highest quality materials, such as ballistic nylon and top grade leather handle and accents. Only premium features were included in the Concept, like our unique hard-shell sunglasses case and patented corner-guard protection system on the laptop pocket. The modern aesthetics and fresh styling of the bag let you stand out in a crowd. Additionally, the Concept sports exclusive details that are not available on any of our other bags; like a contoured shoulder strap, distinctive zipper pulls, and a unique outlet for your headphone cord. The Concept showcases the quality of EVERKI.
EVERKI’s intuitive design
The Concept backpack is thoughtfully engineered with streamlined spaces and select features for your business travel. The technology compartment consists of a felt-lined laptop pocket that can store up to a 17.3-inch laptop as well as a separate felt-lined pocket for your tablet. Your sunglasses or reading glasses are just as carefully protected when you tuck them away in the hard-shell quick-access case on the top of the bag. The main compartment is spacious and roomy, with a file divider to keep your important papers and files neat and separated. Need added security and Peace of mind for your most important documents? Use the bottom rain cover pocket as an optional hidden stash. The Concept – features that matter.
Large enough to comfortably fit a 17.3-inch laptop, the super-soft felt lined laptop pocket will keep your device safe and protected. And since airport security can sometimes be a big hassle, we designed the Concept laptop compartment with our hassle-free 180 degree fold-out design. The Checkpoint Friendly design allows you to breeze through airport security without removing your device from its pocket. Simply open the Concept up 180 degrees, lay it flat, and your bag will quickly pass through the scanner. Should you need to remove your laptop, you can take it out and replace it without rummaging through your backpack or removing other contents.
Hard-shell quick-access sunglasses case
Are your sunglasses or reading glasses a traveling necessity? Then you definitely want them protected inside your bag. EVERKI’s unique hard-shell sunglasses case was designed specifically with this in mind. There is plenty of space in the built-in hard case for your sunglasses or reading glasses, as well as an additional nylon tuck-away for your phone or ear buds. And because it’s positioned on the top of the bag, you won’t have to fumble around looking for them when you need them. Your glasses are safe, secure and right at your fingertips.
Patented corner-guard protection system
When you travel with your backpack as your mobile office, your laptop has to be securely protected. That’s why we’ve engineered the Concept with extra padding in the lining of the laptop pocket and molded-to-fit laptop corner guards. Our patented corner-guard protection system uses form-fitting corners to wrap snugly around the bottom of your laptop pocket, to protect against knocks and bumps – or if you accidentally set your bag down too abruptly. The shock-absorbing system of the Concept will give you Peace of mind, knowing your laptop is safe inside your bag.
Water-repellent ballistic nylon
Constructed from top-of-the-line textiles like water-repellent ballistic nylon, it’s durable enough for the most challenging conditions. Designed for protection and abrasion resistance, this material wicks away water to help protect the contents inside your bag. We’ve also included a separate backpack rain cover for protection even in inclement weather.
Ergonomic strap design
The premium Concept bag incorporates a contoured shoulder strap system to ergonomically balance the load and reduce muscle strain. The weight distributing chest strap also relieves some of the weight from your shoulders and brings it forward, giving greater balance.
All EVERKI interiors are stylish, high-contrast orange because we know how frustrating it is to mistakenly leave a compartment unzipped, and how difficult it is to organize against a black background. Savvy and Stylish.
Large zippers and metal pulls
Have you ever broken a zipper on your favorite bag? We have. That’s why we designed the Concept using heavy duty zippers with extra large metal pulls. So your favorite bag can remain your favorite bag.

onI have never found a bag model like "Concept EPK133". All my travel needs can be fulfilled by just a bag. From clothing, computers, electronics, letters / books, glasses, stationery, I can take it succinctly. Truly, an amazing design by EVERKI.Thank you for your feedback! onThe Concept is a great backpack (though I would quite like a few more interior pockets). But one very annoying feature (and somebody else has commented on this) is that the "ladder" buckles on the shoulder straps are metal on mine, and they have both in turn broken. A previous reviewer mentioned cold temperatures, but mine both broke as I was lifting the bag to my shoulder in reasonably warm places. The first happened overseas, the second at home. In each case, I was able to buy a plastic buckle locally and get it sewn in. Everki accepted that it was a warranty issue, but their only solution was for me to destroy the pack and get it replaced, which seemed like overkill. The pack overall is nice and sturdy, and the zippers are great, but I would check whether Everki is still using the metal buckles before buying it.Thank you for your feedback! onI've had my Concept backpack for 2.5 years and it's fantastic. I tend to load it heavily and I have a bad shoulder, but I can walk miles with it comfortably. With its wide padded shoulder straps and the chest strap, it distributes weight very well, and does not strain my shoulders. The bag is large and tough. I travel a lot, kicking and jamming the bag under the airplane seat and it doesn't show a scratch. The seams are also all in good shape.
A week ago, much to my chagrin, a buckle on a shoulder strap broke, and I asked for a repair. They sent me a brand new backpack without hesitation. Over two years and Everki still stands behind the product 100%.Thank you for your feedback! You already voted Sorry, we failed to record your vote. Please try again

onI have now made several trips to multiple destinations with this backpack, so feel that I am now qualified to review it.
Overall, expensive for what it is.
Pro: Looks nice, nice quality zips.
Comfort: I have had better.
Quality: after about two weeks, the stitching on the small interior pockets began to undo (with practically zero use). So far that is the only quality issue.
Usability: Having to move the straps to get to the laptop is a pain. However, given TSA requirements, this is probably hard to avoid.
The lack of external pockets is painful. The front magnetic closure pocket is insecure and not a lot of use. The side pockets have no zips, they are only good for carrying water bottles. I want this for business, not a long trek over deserts. Adding zips would make these pockets somewhat useful. The hard "sunglasses" case would be much more useful if it were soft. No-one is going to use that for sunglasses, its the only real external pocket available with secure closure. The sharp bends in the zip on this make opening/closing somewhat painful.
The zips on the major compartments are much too short. They only open about 2/3 of the way down, making it hard to get at items at the bottom of the backpack, in particular, the net pocket which is the only really sensible place for cables, chargers etc. You have to fiddle around blind to find things.
The middle compartment has a somewhat cheesy divider, with pockets on the back. These are ok, but seem cheap and not really enough to keep things like a Macbook pro power supply and cable contained easily. Again, velcro fasteners (cheap). Otherwise, things have to be just tossed either side of the divider, and because you can't open the compartment up fully, its like a luck-dip trying to find things.
The laptop/tablet section is ok. The retainers for the laptop and tablet are elastic straps with velcro. The tablet strap is way too long, reaching way past the fixed velcro pad without stretching. It is loose and floppy and I have my doubts about it really securing my iPad. The strap for the laptop is about the right length, but again I have doubts about a bit of velcro really securing the laptop. Plastic clip fittings would have been much preferable and more in keeping with the price paid.
I mentioned the small pockets with the stitching coming undone; these are essentially useless. Much too small to be useful, and again, no form of retention for anything.
Shoulder straps seem to need re-adjusting every time I put the backpack on.
Overall, compared to its predecessor (a sub $100 Swiss gear backpack) I am unimpressed, especially given the price. Made for show rather than for practical use.

onI don't know if you are like me, but I have gone through several different backpacks for different manufactures until I purchased this one. Yes it is a little pricy, but by the time you calculate the amount I spent on the other bags that have not lasted nearly as long as this one, I would have saved money in the end if I had purchased this one first. As for Everki's Customer Service, for my experience, they are great and live up to what I expected and more. I had an issue with a broken buckle on the shoulder strap. I contacted Customer Service to address the issue and it was a NO hassle experience and for me, they delivered above expectation. I have been so satisfied with this backpack that I have just order their Versa Briefcase for another application. I expect the same quality in the new bag as I have received in this one. Great job Everki, keep up the great work.
