I like my new laptop bag. I am writing to suggest that you increase the size of the small pocket with the zipper or add a new pocket with a zipper that would accommodate a passport.

A pocket with a zipper is more secure than a open pocket and would be very valuable for international travelers.

Thank you for your consideration and great product.

Good Quality Bag-make sure to test it out at home

I recently bought this bag for daily work and work travel. I put my lunch box and my purse in my bag daily and for a week of travel I bring a few outfits, toiletries, a book or two, snacks, and my purse. I expect it all to fit in my bag for 1 carryon total. When I travel more than a week I bring a bigger purse/bag as my personal item to carry on with my backpack. I move my purse, a book, and some snacks to that bag so there is more room in my backpack for a few more outfits and snacks.

I absolutely loved the bag as I unboxed it. It smells good and it feels durable and looks classy. I was so excited to start using it but quickly realized my lunch and purse had a very tight fit in the middle opening. The pressure from my computer and tablet with a couple note pads in the back, and my water and sunglasses case at the sides, and my chargers in front compressed the usefulness of the middle area too much.

My previous backpack always had extra room in the middle and this one does not. I tried it out for about two weeks before I gave up. I'm still looking for the perfect bag for me, but I can tell you hands down that this was the nicest bag I've ever owned and if I didn't use the bag the way I do, there is no way I would have stopped using it.

BTW, the return policy isn't perfect, it is for wear and tear issues, and not for someone that wants to love the bag but just cannot after trying it out. I'd recommend testing in your home as much as you need before you decide to actually use it if you aren't sure. You also cannot do a trade where they send you a bag and you return the one you have. You can buy a new bag right away and hope that your trade is accepted so that you are not bagless. That said, I am grateful to their customer service and hope that my next bag is also an Everki but I have yet to make the final decision.

I bought my Atlas backpack nearly two years ago. It has been a great purchase. I was looking for a high quality backpack for business but didn't want to spend $500+. I travel frequently on 2-3 day trips and this backpack plus a small carry-on is everything I need. Great organization for comfortably carrying laptop, tablet, accessories, documents, and other supplies. I'm a lawyer and travel with a lot of documents. The separate storage in the large compartment is great for putting a red rope or other docs so that they don't get beat up. I like all the different pre-designed pockets. Makes it easy to stay organized.

The only downside I have experienced is in the bottom corners of the laptop compartment. I started to notice cracks on the corners of my laptop case. I realized it was from dropping my backpack on the ground with my laptop in it or sliding my laptop into the laptop compartment while the bag was on the ground. Some added protection around the bottom corners of the laptop compartment would improve this, but it is a minor issue. No real damage to my laptop. I put a small amount of foam at the bottom of the compartment and haven't had anymore issues. Other than that, there is some minor tearing in the bottom corners of the laptop compartment but hasn't hurt function at all.

I use mine every day, even when not traveling. For the price, and two years of heavy use, that is very minor wear and tear.

I have owned the Atlas for about 4 months now. For my job I travel quite a bit to different schools presenting about Career Technical Education. I pack a 13" laptop, a couple 100 flyers, a couple 100 brochures, iPad, Apple TV, cords, Nalgene water bottle, and other accessories. All of it fits very nicely and there seems to be plenty of space for cords, pens, and extras. The pockets aren't specifically set up for AV cards, etc. but that does not seem to be a problem. The Nalgene bottle does not fit on the side of the pack but I can fit my coffee container on the side and I don't worry about it spilling. The sunglass area is a nice addition. I put breakfast bars and candy there. My 13" laptop fits just fine and is seems secure. However, I would not want to drop the pack from a high distance as there isn't a lot of padding underneath it. The pack appears very well made, solid, and while it is a bigger bag (fits up to a 17" laptop) I feel comfortable wearing it while I am wearing a tie. It looks nice and I do not feel out of place wearing it to meetings, etc. The bag feels bigger because it is taller. Not sure how it relates to the Concept in terms of size. I have only one poor complaint. I am 6'2" and can not cinch up the pack to fit tight up on my shoulders. It rides low and rubs on my belt, which can be a little uncomfortable. That is the only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5. Other than that I love the pack and will use it for many years.
