Well designed backpack for anyone that rides to work or school. My 17" laptop is well protected from any accidental bumps and the rain guard is a must for anyone who lives in British Columbia.

When the zipper started to go, Everki was quick to help me out and replace my backpack. Customer service is a 5/5.

My only pet peeve after 3 1/2 years is the front pocket is just two inches to small for my 4x6" day planner.

i love the design for the BEACON, the space for the laptop is big enough..But the design for the main compartment of the bag is too small at the top if wish to put more item for travel.

I needed a bag that could both carry my laptop as well as lug around the studio headph.

This looked like a bag that was sturdy seemed to be the right size to carry my gaming laptop around. So on a leap of faith after reading a forum entry, I decided to get it.

No regrets.

The only reason I've given this 4 stars instead of 5 is because this bag was hard to find. There are no stores or websites in the UK that sell this bag so I had to purchase it from Italy via ebay. Which means that delivery cost was quite a lot.
I love the bag it fits my 18.4 inch Clevo X8100 which is a very large laptop indeed. It fits in the sleeve with minimal effort. It's a tight squeeze but it will do the job.
It was hard to find a backpack to fit my laptop but this bag was worth the extra cost. It's got plenty of storage space and it can fit any current gen console like a glove. If you're like me and you tend to be scared of traveling in the rain then this bag is perfect. No longer will I worry about breaking my 2k laptop in bad weather.
The orange colour is very different from previous bags I've owned. I'd go as far as to say its like eye candy. I've had a few friends compliment its looks.
I hope for the future is that Everki products are made more available to the UK.

Fits my ASUS G73 with minimal effort.I would give it 5 stars but my only complaint is that it isn't squared enough at the top.when the laptop is in the laptop compartment it makes contact with the zipper.other than that this bag is pretty solid in construction and offers more storage than most laptop backpacks on the market without that "backpacking through Europe" look.

I bought this bag a year ago for my new HP dv8t laptop. The selection for both stylish and durable 18" laptop backpacks was very slim, so I was pleased to find the Everki Beacon model. It had a color scheme that included my favorite color, orange, and even had a weather-resistant cover packaged in its underside. Needless to say I ordered it the day I happened on this website.rnrnThe bag has served me well, but it began developing significant wear and tear around 6 months into ownership. The main problem was the strength of the stitching on the backstraps, which began to fray and become undone. I tried stitching it up by hand myself several times, but the stitches never held. On top of the strap problems, the zippers had a tendency to get stuck and break off, with the front-left pocket especially becoming stuck beyond repair. Also, one of the three mesh rivets on the front-right pocket became detached at some point.rnrnThis past month the damage to the bag had become progressively worse, to the point where the white cushioning on the inside of the backstraps was begining to show through. I was worried that the straps would soon snap altogether, so I called Everki customer service in Irvine to relay the damage and see about a RMA. To my surprise, the RMA process couldn't have been any more pain free. I simply sent a representative pictures of the damage along with my contact information, and he sent out a new bag, free-of-charge! It even shipped on the day I placed my warranty claim! This definitely exceeded my wildest expectations, and was easily the most streamlined RMA I've ever gone through. It should also be noted that the representative was very friendly, sympathized with my problem and made sure I got a new bag as soon as possible.rnrnEven though the bag broke down sooner than expected, I would not hesitate to buy another product from Everki . I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a high-quality backpack. Their customer service is truly top-notch!

This bag is perfect for the ASUS G73. It is intolerably difficult to find a bag for this monster of a laptop, and to get one with such a wealth of extra features is really satisfying. I knocked it down one star for three reasons. First, this bag is not quite ideal for a student like me- while it does fit a wealth of.... well, everything, it could definitely benefit for a couple more inches of fabric in the main pocket to fit more books. Second, while the pulls and zipper are metal, the teeth of the zipper are plastic. Moreover, the zipper sometimes snags on the inside fabric. Third, the price of the bag is steep. Not that it isn't worth it- don't get me wrong. Simply, price for features seems a tad off, especially with the two preceding points.

I wanted this bag so much, but when I actually saw it upfront it was a bit smaller than expected, which was great. But the only problem was, it couldn't fit my 17" laptops width, I only got one edge of the laptop in and the other was sticking out. Such a shame, I love the look, and the pricing. But the compartment space is quite limited, so instead I got myself a beacon. Everki seems like a promosing brang to me. Keep up the great products! :)

I give this bag 4 stars only becaus this is the largest bag they have and it still happens to be a little small for the large Laptop I have, otherwise i would give this bag a full 5 stars. this bag comes with plenty of storage pockets, soft plush Laptop storage slot, tons of room for everything you can think of needing. Not to mention how easy it is to open or secure what ever cargo your planning to take with you. In otherwords, this is the Ulitmate laptop back pack!!
