I must start my review by saying I had a bit of an issue on the bag, not related to the construction of the bag, etc. but just a shipping mishap. I was contacted by the President of the company, who offered a sincere apology. In this day and age, that is rare.

The bag is currently loaded up with an ROG 17.3" laptop, a DJI Mavic Pro drone with four batteries, flight controller and charger, a fullsize Sony DSLR Camera and two lenses. It also tends to get a bunch of papers in there along with camera and sunglasses. It packs super efficiently and I love the lining material and corner protection the bag offers, that design stands alone in terms of safely protecting my $4000+ laptop. The bag is large enough to carry everything mentioned, but it does so in a streamlined fashion, it does not look like I am carrying a suitcase strapped to my back! Weight distribution is excellent, although I recommend that if you are carrying as much as I am, put it on properly with both straps, not the one shoulder carry. The shoulder straps adjust really easily and have not been sliding loose while walking/jogging/running like mad between gates. Material is very nice quality, the bag looks expensive and feels that way as well. The shoulder strap padding is comfy and I don't feel buckles or pressure points pinching like my old ROG laptop bag did.

I like the fact that the zipper pulls are large, making them not just easy to pull but easy to find in a hurry. I was warned that not all TSA checkpoints are friendly with the fold down element - but the ease of quickly isolating the laptop without digging through everything makes it far easier to maneuver TSA quickly.

The Concept 2 backpack is a brilliant design and durable, exactly what I needed! I purchased the first Everki Concept (1) bag in 2013 after doing extensive research. For six years, I have had zero problems with the bag and love every aspect of it. So when they came out with the Concept 2, I wasn't really in the need for a new bag, but the upgrades had me intrigued.

First, on what they both have, the designs are stylish and unique, standing out from other backpacks on the market. The various pockets and compartments allows me to carry everything I need for my trips into the office or on the road 33 weekends of the year as a PR rep for a NASCAR race car driver. Also, the airport friendly options (full zip down of the laptop compartment) makes it super easy through the airports. Additionally, sometimes in rains at these race tracks, and having the rain cover available at a moment’s notice has been extremely valuable to protect the bag and contents.

The extra additions to the Concept 2 over the Concept 1 make a big difference for me in my travels! First, the slide-through on the back that allows the backpack to sit on top of my roller bag without falling is worth it’s weight in gold! Rather than always having the backpack on the back, heavy, while travelling, or sitting it on the ground taking up extra space while waiting for my plane, I can securely have it on my roller. Plus, moving through the airport is super easy this way!

One other cool addition is the RFID blocker pocket, which I use to put my wallet and cell phone when going through the airport scanner. Other additions of pocket rearrangement from the 1 to the 2, and the zipper pocket expansion, make the upgrade worth it to me. The Concept 2 is now my primary bag as the Concept 1 has gone into a secondary usage bag.

I highly suggest the Concept 2. As a long-time Everki user (since 2013), I highly suggest their products! Worth every penny, and then some!

Just received this backpack and it is the best made and designed laptop backpack I have ever purchased. I've tried multiple laptop bags over the last 20 years and this one stands well above the rest. Can't comment on longevity or the wear facture at this stage but all materials and construction look exemplary. I'm using to carry a brand new Lenovo P73 workstation....and the fit is excellent regarding width...with a touch tight on the height at the corners. Ergonomic and weight distribution fit superb.

I bought this bag nearly 2 years ago. I'm the father of an extremely competitive athlete and we on the road pretty much every weekend for 8 months of the year. This bag has been with us across 23 states now and is still going strong. I literally use this bag every single day. Hardly any wear. No issues with zippers. I've never had a better bag.

The Concept 2 is the Everest of Everki. Extremely well designed and built. Right-sized it holds its contents securely, plenty of room without squeezing things in, but is not overly large. A very comfortable carry, balanced to sling on one shoulder and an easy secure fit on your luggage. This is my second Everki pack. The Studio was a work horse for 10 years. Everki replaced it free of charge after zippers failed at 10 years. If you want a quality product and a reliable manufacturer go Everki. You won’t regret it.

This is my second Concept 2 Backpack. The first one finally gave out after 2 Million miles. That's about as good as one can possibly hope for.

With luck, this second backpack will get me to retirement !

Great backpack this my second one, 1st one I had for 10 years still in great shape, an accident ruined it and my choice was to buy the same one again.

Great backpack. The most organized back pack I have ever owned. I am a very heavy air traveler. This bag works if you travel long domestic flights or long international flights. And besides being durable and well organized, the bag has a very professional ready for business look.
