Customer chooses Ascend Laptop Backpack after intensive research
My fiance bought me an Ascend Guru Laptop Backpack for my birthday, after I put it on my list of things I'd like following some intensive research on laptop backpacks. It's about as close to perfect ask it gets. It's a very smart-looking bag (some of the usual brands' bags are just hideous). It's the only laptop backpack I've seen with double support straps built into the laptop sleeve, which is a feature brilliant in its simplicity. Plus, the bag feels very well made, and with its generous assortment of pockets and just enough extra space in it for all of my gadgets and doohickies, I couldn't be much happier with it.
The only criticism I have of the bag is the inclusion of the single pocket and CD sleeves in the main compartment. No one really carries a bunch of CDs around with them anymore (do they?) - that's what MP3 players and flash drives are for (and there are already plenty-enough of pockets for those things in the bag). The single pocket...well...it is what it is, though I have to say, if I ever drop something in it, I'll probably have a tough time getting it out; my hands are too large to reach into it, so I'll either have to wrestle with my bag or turn it (and its contents) upside down!
I'd never heard of Everki prior to my research for a laptop backpack, so I'm assumiing Everki is a relatively new company. Being a product manager who knows a good product when he sees one, I have to say that you guys are off to a great start.
